PRIVACY POLICY

GENERAL INFORMATION

Travel Tech Systems, LLC (the “Company”) is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information that you provide to us when using our flight advisory service. This Privacy Policy states the terms under which personal information about you is collected and used when accessing the Site. Personal information means all personally-identifying information and non-identifying information submitted by and/or automatically collected from individuals who browse the Site or register on the Site. By accessing the Site and Services, you agree to the terms set forth in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may be modified at any time without notice by posting the modified Privacy Policy here. You should check this Privacy Policy each time you visit the Site or use the Services to identify and understand any changes made since your previous visit. By continuing to access or use the Site and Services, you agree to be bound by any modifications to this Privacy Policy. INFORMATION YOU SUBMIT

The Company does not collect personally-identifying information about you (such as your name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address) unless you voluntarily submit that information to the Company through the registration process or communicate with the Company via e-mail through the Site. When you register on the Site, we will collect personally identifiable information that you provide that may include your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, credit-card number, and your preferences as to which Services you want and how and when you want the Services to be delivered to you. We may also conduct occasional online surveys that require personal information. These surveys are entirely voluntary and you may easily decline to participate.

INFORMATION WE GATHER AUTOMATICALLY

In general, you can visit the Site without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. When you visit our Site or use the Services, however, the Company may automatically collect certain non-identifying information about you, such as your movement about the site or the pages on the site you visit most frequently, the type of browser or computer operating system you use, the domain name of the website from which you linked to the Site, the number and frequency of visitors and subscribers to each Web page, and the length of their visits.. When you request pages from our server, our web server automatically collects some information about you, including your IP address. In addition, the Company may store small files on your computer’s hard drive as a "cookie" or similar type of file to track and target your interests. The Company also uses web beacons (invisible images often referred to as pixel tags or clear GIFs) on the Site in order to recognize users and assess traffic patterns, and in our e-mail messages in order to count how many e-mail messages have been opened. The Company uses this information internally, to help the Company enhance the efficiency and usefulness of the Site and to improve customer service. We recommend, however, that you allow cookies to be stored on your computer as they may be needed to for optimal use of the Site and Services.

USE OF INFORMATION THAT HAS BEEN COLLECTED

The Company treats the information of registered members and any personally-identifying information you submit through the Site as confidential. Information the Company gathers, whether voluntarily provided by you or automatically collected, may be used in the following ways:


  • For the purposes for which you specifically provided the information. For example, to enable us to process, validate and verify your subscription to the Site and Services;

Notwithstanding the foregoing or any other statements or representations here or elsewhere on our Site, the Company reserves the right to disclose any information in our possession where it is necessary to enforce our Terms of Use (for example, when necessary to protect our intellectual property rights), or if we are required to do so by law, or we believe, in good faith, that such a disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, defend our rights or property, or to respond to an emergency situation.

THIRD PARTY AND CORPORATE SUBSCRIPTIONS

If your access to the Site and Services is provided by your employer or a third party, we may notify your employer or that third party when you access the Site or Services. In doing so, we may reveal limited amounts of your personally identifiable information such as your name or email address. In some cases, your employer or the third party providing your access may provide us with limited amounts of personal information about you to facilitate your access to the Services and so that we may identify you when providing it with user and usage information.

ADDITIONAL PRIVACY PROTECTIONS FOR CHILDREN

This Site is not designed for children under 18 years of age. Any information submitted during registration that the Company reasonably believes originated from a child under 18 years of age will be deleted. Children should never reveal their addresses, phone numbers, or other personally identifying information to any strangers on the Internet.

SECURITY

The personally identifiable information we collect about you is stored in limited-access servers. We will maintain safeguards to protect the security of these servers and your personally identifiable information. The Company has reasonable security measures in place to protect the personally identifying information you submit to us once it is received; however, the Company cannot be responsible for the security of your information. Your personally identifying information is only accessible to those individuals who need it for delivering flight information, providing marketing assistance and research, processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. When you communicate with the Company by email or by non-electronic means your communication is not necessarily secure from interception and is subject to all of the risks of electronic and non-electronic communication. The Company does not guarantee the security or privacy of transmissions. The Company reserves the right to update or otherwise alter our security practices if and when it seems appropriate.

If you are concerned about the personally identifying information you have provided to the Company, or would like to review, update, or delete that personally identifying information, please contact the Company at contact@fltadvisor.com. The Company will make reasonable efforts to comply with your request.

If you do not wish to receive marketing or promotional materials from the Company, please send an email to contact@fltadvisor.com with the words “Remove from marketing lists” in the subject line and re-type the email address to be removed in the text of the email for verification purposes.
